Professor Henry Chesbrough served as Keynote Speaker at the “Strategizing Practices from the Outliers: Enabling ‘Big Bang’ Innovations” conference, which took place in Switzerland on March 21-23, 2013. The conference was co-sponsored by IMD, CERN and SMS. Professor Chesbrough’s session “Key Drivers Behind ‘Big Bang’ Science and Open Innovation” looked at the key drivers behind the open innovation process and explained how early adopters made the best use of it. He also presented at a three-day Symposium, “Lead & Innovate: Delivering Results on a Global Stage” (June 1-3, 2012), at the Escade Business School in Barcelona, Spain. An exceptional array of people from 12 different countries came together to share their expertise, discuss trends and opportunities, and challenge how we think and work.
